All The Feels Album

The album, created by Columbus, OH family group The Wise Channel, is an innovative musical journey designed to help children navigate complex emotions. Each song represents a different emotion, serving as a guide for children to identify, understand, and manage their feelings.

Despite being a children’s album, it spans diverse genres appealing to all ages including pop, jazz, Latin, a cappella, choral, rock, and hip-hop. The album also features contributions from Grammy-winning artists, including The Alphabet Rockers (2023) and Lucy Kalantari (2018, 2021).

The lyrics align with evidence-based social and emotional learning competencies, making it a valuable educational tool. In essence, it fosters emotional intelligence through music, providing a fun way for children to explore emotions and engage in meaningful discussions with trusted adults.

All The Feels Video Series

Each song on “The All The Feels Album” will be accompanied by a vibrant music video, bringing the referenced emotions to life through visuals and storytelling.

These videos will be diverse, incorporating live action, 2D, and 3D animation. They will be freely accessible on YouTube via The Wise Channel. By providing visual reinforcement, especially for visual learners, the music videos enhance understanding of mental health messages. Additionally, many videos will encourage physical activity, known to benefit mental health.

All The Feels Curriculum

In addition to the album and music videos, The Wise Mosaic will power the All The Feels PreK-8 Curriculum. Each lesson will center around emotions referenced in the album.

The online curriculum aligns with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) and Ohio Department of Education Social Emotional Learning (SEL) standards, providing resources such as lesson plans, teacher guides, worksheets, quizzes, arts and crafts, and discussion questions.

To maximize impact and accessibility, this curriculum will be freely available to Central Ohio K-8 schools, making it accessible to over 150,000 students. For schools and districts beyond Central Ohio (Franklin, Delaware, Licking, and Fairfield Counties), the curriculum will be offered at a reasonable rate.

Why is this important?

Our community faces numerous challenges, from crime and poverty to education disparities and food insecurity. At the heart of these issues is mental health. All The Feels underscores the importance of fostering strong mental health and emotional intelligence in children to prevent future issues.

01

Access

The CDC reports that nearly 1 in 5 children have a mental health disorder, yet only 20% receive specialized care. All The Feels provides a free accessible resource for emotional awareness and understanding. This is especially valuable for the vast majority of individuals in low to middle income population who will use these resources.

02

Awareness

03

This evidence based project raises awareness and reduces stigma by normalizing discussions about emotions and mental health, showing children that their feelings are valid and shared. It also acts as a preventative tool against future issues by teaching children to manage their emotions.

Academics

By focusing on emotional intelligence, the project also aims to improve student behavior in schools. This improvement is crucial, as many educators face burnout or consider leaving the field due to stress from handling behavioral issues, which leaves little time for actual teaching.

All The Feels is more than songs and resources. It's a free, accessible resource raising awareness, reducing mental health stigmas, mitigating behavioral issues, positively impacting the classroom, and promoting a healthier future for our children. Supporting this project is a cause worth championing!
